Meet My Feline Family
Hello there! I’m Cynthia Luriany, a 36-year-old Indonesian cat enthusiast originally from Bandung, West Java. Now, I call Medan, North Sumatra, my home. My life is a whirlwind of feline joy, as I share my space with a bustling crew of 20 indoor cats and 15 outdoor ones. My fur family is a delightful mix, including domestic breeds, medium Persian, Scottish Fold, Scottish Straight, and British Shorthair. Their ages vary widely, from energetic kittens to wise five-year-olds.
The Story of How My Cat Family Grew
My journey into the world of cats began with a single cat, and it didn’t take long for my household to overflow with feline friends. Initially, I adopted one cat, and soon after, I brought another into the family to keep my first cat, Chlowie, company. This decision turned out to be fortuitous, as Chlowie went on to have five adorable kittens. As time went by, I couldn’t resist rescuing more cats from the streets. I also purchased three Scottish breeds, and a friend generously gifted me some British Shorthairs. Unfortunately, we faced a heartbreaking challenge when a panleukopenia virus claimed the lives of most of the kittens. Today, only two of them, Omil and Ozil, remain, while the others—Osin, Onil, and Ocil—are remembered fondly.
How Chlowie and Luck Sparked My Catfluencer Journey
Becoming a catfluencer wasn’t something I planned. It was a delightful twist of fate, driven largely by Chlowie’s captivating and unique personality. Her charm and distinctive character drew people in and led us to this exciting path of sharing our feline adventures with the world.
A Day in the Life of My Cats
My cats embody joy and energy. They thrive on playtime, affection, and mealtime. Each cat has its own quirks—Chlowie, for example, can have her feisty moments, but overall, they are a lively and loving bunch. Their days are filled with playful antics, cosy naps, and lots of interaction with each other and me. Like many cats, mine have their favourite pastimes: playing, napping, eating, and, occasionally, causing a bit of chaos around the house. Their days are a delightful blend of fun and relaxation, ensuring that every moment is a little adventure.
Living Arrangement and Playtime
We live in a charming shophouse, and all my cats are strictly indoor companions. To keep them entertained and active, we have daily play sessions involving a broom and various toys. These activities not only stimulate their natural instincts but also strengthen our bond.
Daily Cat Duties
Every day, I dedicate time to engaging with my cats and creating content that highlights their unique personalities and antics. Sharing their lives with the world brings me immense joy and helps others appreciate the special bond between humans and their feline companions.
Support and Self-Reliance
While I would always welcome additional support, I take pride in managing and caring for my cats with as much love and dedication as possible. I have a trusted personal veterinarian who is always available, and I’ve taken it upon myself to learn everything I can about cat care.
