Cookie Taro
Greetings dear hoomans! My name is Cookie Taro. I am an Arabian Mau cat and I reside in Dubai, in an area called The Gardens.
My rescuer gave me the name Taro at first. Despite it being such a nice name that fitted me, my current pawrents, Gordost Regionov and Nastia, called me Cookie for being such a sweet cat. They made the decision to maintain also my given name, which is how I became Cookie Taro.
Stray in Sharjah
I guess by now you can easily infer that I was saved, otherwise, I wouldn’t have used the word ”rescuer.” Well, this is quite a story. My early experiences in life were not entirely fortunate. From what I can recall, I was found all alone on the street in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, after the intense and heavy floods in April 2024.
Dubai Living
When I was saved, I was just two weeks old. My rescuer took me to the veterinarian in Dubai, Marina, right away. I was then adopted by Gordost and Nastia, who offered me a second chance at life.
Fast and Naughty
Today, under the custody of my hoomans, I believe I can be described as a lively, affectionate kitten. However, I can also be really mischievous at times and will demolish anything that stands in my way. This is mostly because I'm young and full of energy.
So, I don't intentionally destroy things.
I merely enjoy playing, that's all. In addition to that, I am also incredibly fast. Little mishaps around the house have become the norm due to my boundless energy and naughty eagerness to play around.
Orphan Habit
Since I did not have a mother cat to take care of me, I am still a little kitten at heart. For this reason, I enjoy sucking on my hooman mama Nastia's fingers. She finds it the cutest thing, but she also acknowledges it might be a little weird.
My other favorite activity is to climb practically everything that can be climbed. I also enjoy annoying my two cat aunts, who are far older than I am and are not interested in playing with me very much.
My Dad’s Car
One day, I hope to take a ride in the 20-year-old Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG from my cat dad Gordost. It remains a dream to this day because he never lets me ride in his car. You see, I'm too mischievous and he fears I could damage the wood and leather interior.
Food Preferences
I eat everything when it comes to food, but my favorite is Purina wet food, though any dry food will do. My elderly cat aunties' Dreamies cat cheese biscuits are occasionally stolen by me. Aside from that, I think the fragrance of human food is really appealing, so I really want to try it. However, because it's not healthy for me, my pawrents won't let me.
Wish for Second Chances
To conclude, I got lucky that I received a second chance at life. I wish all the stray cats out there would get a shot at a new life in a loving family because they deserve to have a chance at a better life. So again, like many others, I would wholeheartedly recommend adopting and not shopping!
